How do I program job finishing?
To program job finishing:
1. Open the Job Manager.
2. Double-click the job you wish to edit. The Job Properties
window opens.
3. Select the Output tab.
4. Click the Stapling/Finishing FAB.
5. Select your finishing option from the Stapling/Finishing menu.
Move the cursor over the paper mimic icons to see a
description of each available selection and click the icon you
want to use.
6. If your printer supports staple placement and if stapling is
selected, you can select a staple placement position.
a. Select [Staple Placement...]. The Staple Placement dialog
window opens.
b. The selected stock displays in the Stock Size field. You can
select from [inches] or [mm].
c. Use the slide bar to set staple placement.
d. Click [OK] once you have set the staple placement.
7. If desired, select enable or disable for subset finishing. If
enable is selected, you will be able to change the page
boundary using the spin box that appears.
8. Select [OK] to save finishing settings and exit the Job
Properties tabset.
How do I program a booklet/signature job?
To program a booklet/signature job:
NOTE: This procedure works only when a Signature Booklet is
present on your system.
1. Ensure that the Signature Booklet Maker (SBM) is enabled:
a. Open the Printer Manager.
b. Select the Finishing tab.
c. If the SBM is not enabled, right-click on it and select
[Enable].
2. Open the Job Manager.
3. Double-click the job you wish to edit. The Job Properties
window opens.
4. Select the Output tab.
5. Select the Layout FAB.
