The Paper Trays Tab

NOTE: If you do not have a valid PostScript license, the
system display settings for PostScript jobs.
The Paper Trays tab shows the status and condition of all the
paper trays, as well as characteristics of the stocks assigned to
them.
The columns show the properties of the stocks and the
specifications that have been made for the trays. The rows
represent the paper trays on your printer. Double clicking on a tray
row opens the Tray Properties window, where you can specify or
change the stock assigned to the tray. Depending on printer
configuration the Paper Trays tab can contain the following
attribute set:
Tray: Contains the number identifier of the tray and the
associated feeder. Each tray has its own number, and may
have one or more stocks assigned to it.
Tray Status icon: The Status icon indicates whether or not the
tray is available to feed paper for a job. If a tray is enabled, the
column is blank. If a tray is disabled, the column contains a
diagonally lined red circle.
Summary: The paper mimic icon shows a summary of the tray
and feeder, and indicates whether the paper feeds long edge
or short edge.
Stock Size Checking: With Stock Size Checking enabled, an
icon appears, indicating that the paper loaded in the paper tray
matches the size programmed for the tray.
Stock Comment icon: The Stock Comment icon appears only
if comment text has been entered for a given stock. The Stock
Comment is displayed as a "tool tip" if cursor hovers over the
comment icon.
Size: Shows the name and size of the stock in the tray. The
stock sizes are shown by both name (such as US Letter or A4)
and measurement in inches or millimeters, depending on what
was specified on the Tray Properties dialog.
Color: Indicates the color of the stock assigned to the tray.
Type: Indicates the kind of stock assigned to the tray; for
example, plain, tab, or preprinted.
Hole Punched Stock icon: When the icon is present it
indicates that the stock assigned to the tray is pre-punched
(pre-drilled).
Weight: Shows the weight in gsm (grams per square meter) of
the stock assigned to the tray.
Tray Type: Indicates whether the tray is Dedicated or Fully
Adjustable. Stock settings within a Dedicated tray can only be
