PostScript fonts when a font that is requested for a job is not
available.
NOTE: If you do not have a valid PostScript license, the system
does not contain PostScript fonts.
To set the font site policy:
1. Select [System Preferences...] from the DocuSP Setup menu.
2. Choose the Font Site Policy tab.
3. Select [Yes] to enable font substitutions.
4. Select a substitute font for instances when the requested font
is not available from the PostScript Resident Fonts list. The
substitute font appears in the selection field. If a font is not
selected, the default font, Courier, is used.
5. Select [OK], or continue setting system preferences.
Stocks and Trays
The Stocks and Trays tab is used to activate features found
elsewhere on the system. Available selections depend on the
printer configuration.
To set up stocks and trays:
1. Select [System Preferences...] from the Setup menu.
2. Select the Stocks and Trays tab
3. In the System Preferences dialog, select the options for your
printing needs.
• Allow Multiple Stocks Per Paper Tray: This selection
enables or disables the "Append" feature on a tray. If it is
disabled the "Append/Remove" options do not appear on
the GUI.
• Allow Stock Substitution: You are notified that this
selection may cause image loss when used with the
Reduce/Enlarge feature. It will also cause front and back
images to not align properly on duplex jobs.
• Display Preferred Trays: Enable this feature to select a
preferred tray.
• Allow Tray Selection by Queue: Enables or disables the
"Feed" or "Forced Feed By Queue" option. When enabled
the GUI changes to all forced feed printing without regard
to other attributes.
• You can select how the system processes Stock Names
when stocks are named in Printer Manager:
– Enforce Unique Names: Selecting this option allows
you to create unique names for each stock. Duplicate
names are not permitted.
– Allow Duplicate Names - Selecting this option allows
you to create multiple stocks using the same or similar
