Examples of activities during which the Stock List is accessed
include (but are not limited to):
•
Assigning a named stock to a job
•
Assigning a named stock as default for a queue
•
Assigning a named stock as default for slip sheets
•
Assigning a named stock as one or more cover pages
•
Assigning a named stock to be used as an exception pages
During any of the above activities, as well as others, you will be
able to access the Stock List.
To access a specific stock, perform the following steps:
1. Within the particular GUI screen (which will be different
depending upon your current activity), select [Stock List...].
The Stock List GUI dialog box will appear.
NOTE: If the button is available, you will see it on the screen.
It is not the purpose of this general procedure to discuss
specific workflows.
2. Left-click on the stock to select the one that you want to use.
3. Select [OK]. You will be returned to the GUI screen you
accessed prior to selecting the [Stock List...] button.
The Stock Library tab allows you to manage paper stock on the
system. You can perform the following tasks:
•
Adding a new stock
•
Edit a stock entry
•
Copying a stock entry
•
Deleting a stock entry
•
Assigning a stock to a paper tray
•
Removing a stock from assigned trays
•
Hiding and showing stock entries
•
Importing stock settings
•
Exporting stock settings
•
Adding stocks from the Stock Catalog
Adding a new stock
To add a new paper stock:
1. Open the Printer Manager.
2. Choose the Stock Library tab.
3. Select [New Stock...] by performing one of the following:
