Understanding the Override Option

The View pull-down menu contains the following choices:
Columns...: You can determine the queue list display by
selecting or deselecting queue list titles. If deselected, the item
is removed from the queue list row. See, Managing the queue
list for additional information.
Show Toolbar: Selecting this option displays an assortment of
icons that correspond to common tasks.
Hide Toolbar: This option, which is only available when the
toolbar is displayed, will toggle the display of the toolbar off.
Redisplay: Refreshes the queue list display.
Before jobs can be printed, they must be submitted to the printer
through a print queue. The function of a queue is to manage the
flow of print jobs through the controller to the printer.
Before you create a queue and begin making property selections
for it, you must understand the Override option. When you select
the Override option for any queue property, that selection will
apply to any jobs submitted to that queue and will take
precedence over any property selections made in the Job
Manager or programmed into the job.
The override option works in the hierarchy shown below. For
example, any Exception Page settings (priority 2) will override any
Job Ticket settings (priority 3). Any Queue Property override
settings take precedence over all other property features.

You can create a single queue through which all jobs will be
submitted to a printer, or you can create several different queues
