installed on the attached printer, for example internal
finishers.
– Customer Asset Tag: Select [Setup...] to enter asset
tag data.
– Xerox Asset Tag: Select [Setup...] to enter asset tag
data.
d. Devices: The Devices tab displays information pertaining
to the DocuSP controller configuration.
e. Network: The Network tab displays the following
information about the network connections of the printing
system:
– Network Address: Displays the IP address of the
printing system. The IP number is established by the
System Administrator prior to installation of the printing
system and is entered during the DocuSP software
installation.
– Channel Address: Displays the channel address of
the printing system if the system is using the channel
connection.
– Network Connectivity: Displays the type of network
connection being used by the printing system.
f. Software: The Software Configuration utility displays the
list of software packages currently loaded on the DocuSP
system. Each package is shown with the version number;
tag (for feature types: core feature, optional feature,
licensed feature, or billable feature); and time and date
stamp.
Setting up the CD Drive
To set up the CD Drive:
1. The CD Hardware Default Speed is shown. If you want to
enter a speed, other than the default speed, clear [Use
Hardware Default]. The Default Speed and Maximum Speed
fields become active.
2. If desired, enter a maximum speed. The value you enter is
reflected below the Default Speed field.
3. Enter a Default Speed value. The range is displayed below the
spin box.
4. Select a Default mode:
• Write Disk: Copies data directly to the CD without
performing a simulation.
• Simulation: A test run/burn is performed to make certain
that proper conditions are present for a successful write to
disk. Writing to disk is not performed until the simulation is
successful.
