If logged on as System Administrator or Operator you can enable
or disable two-sided printing for the printer. The default setting is 2
Sided, enabled.
Disabling two-sided printing is important if the paper inverter is
damaged or not working properly, or for any other reason that
would cause jobs to fault from two-sided printing.
To set the sides imaged option:
1. Select [Switches...] from the Printer menu.
2. To enable two-sided printing select [2 Sided].
3. Select [OK], or continue setting properties.
When a document contains a dense image along one edge of the
paper, the amount of toner is increased in that region. If excess
toner is located at the edge of a page, it can cause the paper to
wrap around the fuser and jam the printer.
Edge Treatment settings are used to prevent fuser wraps by
lightening the image along the leading edge and thus reducing the
amount of toner.
Only the System Administrator can make Edge Treatment
selections.
NOTE: Because images that extend all the way to the edge of the
paper can cause an increase in the frequency of jams, dense
images should not be placed at either the right or left edges of the
page.
To select an edge treatment setting:
1. Select [Switches...] from the DocuSP Printer menu.
2. Evaluate the job to determine which of the Edge Treatment
options is best for printing. More Information...
3. Select [OK], or continue setting properties.
To set the audible alarm:
