If the displayed mode does not match your system:
a. Click the [Setup...] button
b. Select the correct Mode
c. Click [OK].
d. When the Warning prompt displays, decide if you wish to
continue with the Mode change. If the answer is yes, click
[OK].
e. When queried as to whether you wish your changes to be
configured Now or on the Next Restart, click [Now].
NOTE: The Queue Server window provides two tables for
configuring the printer's connection to the NetWare server.
The upper table is used for configuring NDS connections,
while the lower table is used for configuring Bindery
connections.
Enabling AppleTalk through License Manager
Print jobs can be submitted from Macintosh clients to the
controller for printing over the AppleTalk print path. The System
Administrator must configure the AppleTalk Gateway with the
proper Phase Type and Zone. The AppleTalk Gateway supports
streaming if the designated queue's Input value is set to Stream.
Before setting up the gateway, the AppleTalk PAP must be
installed and licensed. The AppleTalk Gateway software is
installed and the license enabled on the DocuSP controller by the
Xerox service representative.
To enable the AppleTalk license:
1. Logon to the DocuSP Controller as a System Administrator.
2. From the Setup menu select [Feature Licenses...].
3. If necessary, expand the Ethernet Network selection.
4. Right click on the horizontal selection line labeled AppleTalk
Gateway and select [Properties...].
5. In the Properties window, make sure that the [Activate] radio
button under the License heading is selected.
6. Make sure that the [Enable] radio button under the Feature
heading is selected.
7. Make sure that AppleTalk Gateway is the name displayed
under the License Name heading.
8. If not part of a license package, the License String should be
filled in with a lengthy string of characters (letters and
numbers). If this is not the case, contact your Xerox
representative.
