7. Select the desired Import Policy Option.
• Replace Pre-installed Entries with Imported Pre-
installed Entries: Replaces current pre-installed stocks
profiles with imported pre-installed stock profiles.
• Replace User-Defined Entries with Imported User-
Defined Entries: Replaces current user-defined stock
profiles with imported user-defined stock profiles.
8. Select [Import]. The programmed stock types are imported into
the Stock List.
Exporting stock settings
Exporting stock settings: It is a good idea to save a back-up copy
of your stock profiles to avoid needing to reprogram each setting
in the event of a system upgrade or other unforeseen event. The
export feature allows you to save stock profiles.
To export stock settings:
1. Open the Printer Manager.
2. Choose the Stock Library tab.
3. Right-click a stock entry and choose [Export...]. The Export
Stock dialog opens.
4. Use the Directory menu to select the export location. Use the
directory tree to browse to the specific location to which you
wish to export the file. The complete path appears in the
Selection field.
5. Select the desired Export Policy Option:
• Associated Color Profiles
• If Associated Color Profiles is selected, you can then
select Include Profile Data.
6. Click [OK]. The system confirms that the export was
successful, and the stock profiles are saved in a file entitled
"stockinfo.tar" or in a ".tv" file.
Adding stocks from the Stock Catalog
You can add stocks to the Stock Library from the Stock Catalog.
To add stocks from the Stock Catalog:
1. Open the Printer Manager.
2. Choose the Stock Library tab.
3. Right-click a stock and select [Add Stocks From Catalog...].
4. Select a stock.
5. Click [Add To Library]. The stock is added to the stock library.
6. Select [Close] to exit the Stock Catalog dialog window.
