Backing up and restoring the system and configuration files

CAUTION: The emergency power off procedure may corrupt the
DocuSP software. This method should only be used in an
absolute emergency.
Use the emergency power off procedure for the following
conditions:
The equipment emits unusual odors or makes unusual noises.
A wall panel or circuit breaker, fuse, or other safety device has
been tripped.
Liquid is spilled onto the equipment.
The equipment is exposed to water damage or flood.
Any part of the equipment is physically damaged.
Performing an emergency power off of the printer
To power off the printer in an emergency, perform one of the
following:
Select [Shutdown] from the DocuSP System menu and select
[Interrupt]. This process immediately shuts down the system
without completing the processing of current jobs. All
operations are stopped and the system shuts down. The
system will not release or accept jobs until after the system
has been restored. This procedure does not corrupt the
software and is therefore, the recommended method of
shutdown.
Trip the breaker to the off position.
Remove the printer power cord from the power receptacle.
The Backup and Restore utilities provide you with the ability to
back up and/or restore the system configuration files and view the
last full backup and last partial backup dates. It displays the list of
software packages currently loaded on DocuSP system. Available
options depend on your printer configuration.
Backing up the system files
To back up the system and configuration files:
1. From the System menu select [Backup/Restore...].
2. Select [Backup System...].
3. Select the File Group you want to back up.
4. The backup can be saved to a partition of the local disk.
5. Click [OK]. A warning dialog opens indicating that DocuSP will
shutdown automatically when the backup is complete. The
instructions inform you that to continue system backup after
