If a license does not contain features, you can select from
the following options.

Enable: Enables the license.

Disable: Disables the license.

The following fields are displayed:

License Name: This field cannot be edited.
–
Package String: available only on licenses containing
features. This field can be edited.
–
Feature String: This field can be edited.
–
Printer Serial Number
–
Expiration Date: This field can be edited.

Select [OK] to save your changes and exit the dialog
window.
If a feature is selected, it can be enabled or disabled. Since the
validation status and expiration date of a bundled feature is set
for the entire bundle, the remaining properties of an individual
feature are read-only.
5. Select [Close] to exit License Manager.
Loading a license file
To load a license file:
1. Select [Feature Licenses...] from the Setup menu.
2. Right-click a license file.
3. Select [Load License File...]. One of the following actions
occur:

The system checks for the presence of a CD with a license
file before displaying the Select Licence File dialog
window. If a CD containing a license file is located, the
Load License File dialog window displays the CD in the
Directory pull-down menu and highlights the first license
file.

If a CD is not located, the Select License File dialog
window displays the file system within the Directory pull-
down menu. Locate the appropriate license file and select
a valid license file from the Files field.
4. Once the correct file displays in the Selection field click [OK].
5. Select [Close] to exit License Manager.
