d. Select [Override Tray Programming] if you have placed
stock in the tray prior to programming the stock. If you do
not select this option, DocuSP waits for the tray to be
opened and closed before confirming tray contents.
e. Select [OK].
5. Appending/Removing Stock: The Append/Remove stock
function enables you to match programmed stocks with other
similar stocks currently loaded on the system. Therefore, if
one tray runs out of paper in the middle of a job, the job will
automatically be finished with a similar, matching stock.
a. Open Printer Manager and select the Paper Trays tab.
b. Right-click a tray and select [Append/Remove Stock...].
The Append/Remove Stocks dialog opens.
c. The stocks currently programmed for the specified tray
appear in the Programmed Stocks list, and any similar
stocks appear in the Matching Stocks list. Do one of the
following:
To append a stock, select a stock in the Matching
Stocks list and select [Append].
To remove a stock assignment, select a stock in the
Programmed Stocks list and select [Remove].
d. Select [OK]. The changes are reflected on the Paper Trays
tab.
6. Enabling a paper tray: If a tray has been temporarily disabled,
you will need to enable it before it can resume feeding paper.
Right-click a tray and choose [Enable Tray] from the menu.
Select a tray and choose [Enable Tray] from the Tray pull-
down menu.
Select a tray and choose the [Enable Tray] icon from the
toolbar.
7. Disabling a paper tray: If a tray is broken or waiting for service,
you will need to disable it to prevent it from feeding paper.
Right-click a tray and choose [Disable Tray] from the
menu.
Select a tray and choose [Disable Tray] from the Tray pull-
down menu.
Select a tray and choose the [Disable Tray] icon from the
toolbar.
8. Refilling a tray: Before you can check the contents of a tray or
change paper in a tray, you must unlock it. Perform one of the
following:
Right-click a paper tray and choose [Refill Tray]. The tray
is unlocked and can be opened.
Select a tray and choose [Refill Tray] from the Tray menu.
Select a tray and choose the Refill toolbar icon.
