The Operator may view the accounting log, print the entire log or
specific job records, or export the log to a file for further
processing by another software application. The System
Administrator can also enable/disable or purge the accounting log.
To view the accounting log:
1. Select [Accounting...] from the Administration menu.
2. To view the Accounting Log select from the following options
and select the [View] button:
a. Select [All] to view all records.
b. View a range of records:
i. Clear [All].
ii. Type the job ID numbers for the first record you wish to
view and the last record you wish to view in the range
fields.
c. To view an individual job select [Job ID] and type in the job
ID number.
3. Select [View] to see the selected log records.
Using account logging, Automatic Export/Purge, and Remote
Purge
DocuSP allows you to set the accounting log size, enable
automatic and remote purging, and exporting of the accounting
log. The Accounting Log is enabled during DocuSP installation. If
you do not need an Accounting Log it can be disabled.
To set these options, perform the following actions:
1. Select [Accounting...] from the Administration menu.
2. Select [Options...] to access account logging and Remote
Purge options:
a. Select [Enable] Account Logging.
NOTE: Changing this setting will require a restart once all desired
settings are made and [OK] is selected. Simply select [Yes] to
restart the controller when the prompt appears.
b. If Account Logging is enabled, you can set the maximum
accounting log size. The Accounting Log size range
displays below the Maximum Log Size fields. When the log
is 80 percent full, a message displays to prompt you to
delete or print a record of the log. If the accounting log
reaches the maximum number of records, a record is
deleted for each new record added starting with the oldest.
A message displays every time a new record is added and
an old record is deleted.
c. You can automatically export and purge the Accounting
Log. If this feature is enabled, the accounting log may be
set to automatically purge and/or export when a certain
