Adding IP Addresses
To add an IP Address to the Address field in order to Enable
Specified Connections:
1. Select [Enable Specified Connections].
2. Right-click within the Address field and select [New...]. The IP
Edit window opens.
3. You can enter IP Odysseys by selecting one of the following
options:
Select [IP Address]: Allows you to enter a specific IP
Address. Information must be entered in the Name and
Description fields. Information must be entered in the
Name and Description fields.
Select [By IP Address Range]: Allows you to enter an IP
Address range. Enter a Starting IP Address and an Ending
IP Address in the fields provided. Information must be
entered in the Name and Description fields.
Select [By Subnet Mask]: Enter a Name, Description and
IP Address. Select a Subnet Mask from the menu.
4. Select [Add]. The Name of the specified connection is added
to the Address field.
5. Select [Close] to exit the IP Edit window.
Adding IP Address Members
Once you have added IP Addresses to the IP Address field, you
can add those IP Addresses to the Members list. The IP
Addresses that are placed in the Members list can then be moved
to the IP Address field when you want to enable that IP Address to
be a.Enabled Specified Connection.
To add Members:
1. Select [Enable Specified Connections].
2. Select the IP Address.
3. Click the right-facing arrow that is located between the two
fields to move the selected IP Address to the Members field.
Once the IP Address is in the Members field.
4. When you want the Member IP Address to be an Enabled
Specified Connection, select the IP Address from the
Members field and then click the left-facing arrow. The IP
Address is now an Enabled Specified Connection.
