Print Adjustments FAB
This set of features allow you to adjust print darkness, printer
mode, and toner saver settings.
To use the Print Adjustments FAB:
1. Select the Print Adjustments FAB.
• Select the Print Darkness value by clicking on a segment
of the Darkness bar. The default value is 4.
• Select settings from the Mode pull-down menu. The
DocuTech 135 Print Darkness setting prints output that is
similar in appearance to that of a DocuTech 135 printer.
• You can also use the image quality Default Settings by
selecting the appropriate button.
2. Select (OK) or continue setting job properties. Your selection
will appear on the Image Adjustments FAB.
Resolution FAB
Use the resolution option to achieve better performance for jobs
that were saved or scanned at 300 dpi. Resolutions vary from
printer to printer, therefore not all resolutions print exactly as
expected.
To use the Resolution FAB:
1. Select the Image Quality tab.
2. Choose the Resolution FAB.
3. From the Resolution pull-down menu select the appropriate
resolution for your job.
4. Select (OK) or continue setting job properties. Your selection
will appear on the Resolution FAB.
Resolution/Halftone FAB
Halftone refers to the pattern of dots or lines of varying sizes
applied to an image of varying tones.
Within the Resolution/Halftone FAB you will observe a pull-down
menu for halftones. If this pull-down menu is left alone, the
"System Specified" halftone screen will be applied. However, you
may click on this pull-down menu to receive further options.
