NOTE: When you select the Override option for any queue
property, that selection will apply to any jobs submitted to that
queue and will take precedence over any property selections
made in the Job Manager or programmed into the job.
The Image Edit tab contains the following options:
• Set image shift options using the Image Shift FAB: Image shift
allows you to adjust the location on a page where printing will
occur.
• Adjust page rotation.
Using the Image Edit tab to set queue properties
To use the Image Edit tab:
1. Open the Queue Manager.
2. Double-click the queue you want to modify.
3. Select the Image Edit tab.
NOTE: Select [Override] if you want any setting to take
precedence over any settings associated with individual jobs.
4. Select the Image Shift FAB to adjust the location on a page
where printing will occur. The procedure to shift an image will
vary based on whether you are printing on a one-sided or two-
sided page. The FAB window contains a mimic of a printed
page that reflects the image shift changes you make.
a. Shifting the image on a one sided job (1 to 1 Sided, or 2 to
1 Sided):
i. For 1 Sided jobs, the Shift option is set to Independent.
Select the desired unit of measure: [inches] or [mm].
When selecting the horizontal (X) image shift, enter a
positive number to move the image away from the left
side of the paper. Enter a negative number to move the
image away from the right side of the paper.
When selecting the vertical (Y) image shift, enter a
positive number to move the image upward or a
negative number to move the image down.
Use the [Reset] option to bring both the X and Y values
back to zero (no shift).
The Summary field displays stock settings.
b. Shifting the image on a two-sided job (2 to 2 Sided, or 1 to
2 Sided):
The software does not automatically adjust the image shift
for two-sided jobs. You must enter the specific
requirements for a two-sided job.
i. Click the Image Shift FAB.
