Selecting the Default Profile
To select the default profile:
1. Logon to the DocuSP Controller as a System Administrator.
2. From the Setup menu select [Security Profile...] to display the
Security Profiles window.
3. Select a Profile Name in the Security Profiles window.
4. Right click on the selected Profile Name.
5. Select [Set as Default].
Selecting the Default Profile to be the Current Profile
To select the default profile to be the current profile:
1. Logon to the DocuSP Controller as a System Administrator.
2. From the Setup menu select [Security Profiles...] to display the
Security Profiles window.
3. Click [Restore Default Profile] in the Security Profiles window.
4. You are informed that the system must be shutdown for the
new settings to take affect. Select [OK] to close the window.
5. To shutdown now, select [Shutdown] from the System menu. If
you chose Shutdown later, note that a triangular warning
graphic is displayed in the Security Profiles window. When the
cursor over the graphic, a tool tip states that the Current
Profile has been changed since the last restart.
6. If you chose Shutdown later, when you are finished working
with Security Profiles, log off the system by selecting [Logoff]
from the Logon menu.
Viewing Profile Properties
To view profile properties:
1. Logon to the DocuSP Controller as a System Administrator.
2. From the Setup menu select [Security Profiles...] to display the
Security Profiles window.
3. Select a Profile Name in the Security Profiles window.
4. Right click on the selected Profile Name.
5. Select [Properties...].
6. When the Properties window displays note that for the four
system-supplied Security Profiles the properties are viewable,
but not editable. To create editable, User Defined profiles,
follow the steps for Copying Profiles and Creating New
Profiles.
