Weak passwords consist of three to eight alphanumeric
characters. A carriage return at the end of the string has no
effect.
5. Retype the new password to verify character entry.
6. Select [OK]. An error dialog box displays if any entry is not
valid. If you decide not to keep the changes, select [Reset] to
restore the original password.

DocuSP provides a mechanism by which a strong password policy
can be enforced. Strong passwords must meet all of the following
criteria:

At least eight characters
•
At least one upper case alphabetic character
•
At least one numeric characters (0-9)
•
At least one special character including, but not limited to: !,
@, $, %, period (.). underscore (_) and hyphen (-).
The following behaviors apply to the Strong Password policy:
•
Strong Password Checking is disabled by default.
•
The Strong Password policy applies to all accounts.
•
The Strong Password Policy and the Login Attempts Allowed
policies can be controlled independently.
To enable strong passwords:
1. From the Setup menu, select [Users & Groups].
2. Select [Enabled] to use Strong Passwords.
3. You can enable the maximum login attempts that are allowed
on your system in the event that incorrect login information is
used when trying to access the system. The user account can
