names. This can be useful when the paper type you
are using is differentiated by size only. If selected, the
following fields become active:
• Auto Generate Name Extension – Selecting this
option automatically appends an exclamation
character followed by a number to each duplicate
stock name entry in the database (i.e.
Hammermill!1, Hammermill!2).
• Manually Generate Name Extension – Selecting
this option requires you to create a name extension
for a duplicate stock entry.
• You can select how the system responds when you load
stock into a tray. Select one of the following Tray
Confirmation options:
– None: An automatic tray confirmation pop-up dialog is
not presented during tray refills. If you reload a tray
with a different size paper than is programmed for that
tray, the tray will go to a Not-Ready state and a fault
displays for that tray in the Status area. Trays must be
programmed at the DocuSP GUI.
– When Tray Settings Change: A tray confirmation pop-
up dialog is presented when a different sized stock is
placed in a tray. If the same sized stock is placed in the
tray, the system assumes a reload and a confirmation
dialog is not presented.

tray attributes at the IOT. This would include the stock
size or the stock type.
– After Every Tray Cycle: A pop-up confirmation dialog
displays every time a tray is opened and closed.

– Auto Accept Settings Changes: Automatically
updates DocuSP tray properties with the changes to
the tray settings attributes sent from the IOT. A pop-up
confirmation dialog does not display. As an example, if

accepts the new size and remains in the Ready state.
Settings that the IOT does not specify, such as
Ordered Stock, are set to the default value. This mode
can be useful because Operators do not have to
program tray stocks at the DocuSP GUI.
