For the system to write files on a diskette, the diskette must be
formatted. Formatting also erases any files that are on the
diskette. The system can read diskettes in DOS or XRXLPS
formats. It can write only to DOS formatted diskettes.
NOTE: This procedure formats the diskettes in DOS only.
To format a diskette:
1. Slide the diskette you want to format into the diskette drive
until it locks in place.
2. Select [Configuration...] from the DocuSP Setup menu.
3. Select the Peripherals tab.
4. Select the diskette from the Media list.
NOTE: The name that appears for your diskette drive initially is
"Diskette 0." If you rename it, the new name replaces the "0", but
the word Diskette always precedes the diskette drive name on the
Media list.
5. Right-click on the diskette and select [Format/Initialize...].
