The Settings Tab

The Settings tab contains queue properties FABs: Input,
Destination and Administrative Pages.
NOTE: When you select the Override option for any queue
property, that selection will apply to any jobs submitted to that
queue and will take precedence over any property selections
made in the Job Manager or programmed into the job.
The Settings tab allows you to adjust the following queue
properties:
Using the Input/Format FAB: Select input properties and
default format for a queue.
Using the Destination FAB: Use to indicate whether you want
to print a job, save a job to reprint later, or both.
The Job Filter FAB: Allows you to use the VPC Filter. The VPC
Filter is a job filtering mechanism that can be applied to one or
more queues on a DocuSP system. See Setting up a queue to
accept PPML (Personalized Print Markup Language) jobs for
additional information.
Enable Administrative Pages: See, Using queue
Administrative Pages for additional information.
NOTE: If you do not have a valid PostScript license on the
system, you will not see PostScript in the list of format options.
Using the Settings tab to set queue properties
To set queue properties:
1. Open the Queue Manager.
2. Double-click a queue to open Queue Properties.
3. Select the Settings tab.
4. Select the Input/Format FAB to enter job notes, select an input
mode, and a default format. See Using the Input/Format FAB
for more information.
5. Select the Destination FAB to set the final disposition of any
jobs in the queue. See Using the Destination FAB for more
information.
6. Set Administrative Pages: Administrative Pages are optional
pages that print with the job. See Using queue Administrative
Pages for additional information.
7. The Job Filter FAB: Allows you to use the VPC Filter. The VPC
Filter is a job filtering mechanism that can be applied to one or
more queues on a DocuSP system. See Setting up a queue to
accept PPML (Personalized Print Markup Language) jobs for
additional information.
