Installing a received SSL/TLS certificate
You can install a received SSL/TLS certificate that is stored on the
file system or CD media.
To install a received SSL/TLS certificate:
1. Logon to the DocuSP Controller as a System Administrator.
2. From the Setup menu select [SSL/TLS...].
3. Select [Install Received Certificate...].
4. From the Look In menu, select the UNIX file system or CD.
5. From the Directory, select the file location.
6. Once the file displayed in the Selection field, select [Install].
Removing an SSL/TLS certificate
To remove an SSL/TLS certificate:
1. Logon to the DocuSP Controller as a System Administrator.
2. From the Setup menu select [SSL/TLS...].
3. Select [Remove Certificate...].
4. When the Information box appears, select [Yes] to remove the
certificate. Another message appears informing you that you
cannot enable SSL/TLS until you install or obtain another
certificate. Click [OK] to dispel this message.
5. Click [Close] to exit the SSL/TLS window.
IP Filter
Provides access to the following services: LPR, IPP, HTTP, SMB
Printing (if available), RAW TCP Printing, and FTP Connections.
To set up IP filtering:
1. From the Setup menu select [IP Filtering...].
2. From the IP Filter dialog window select from:
Disable All Connections: this selection disables all
remote connections to the DocuSP interface.
Enable All Connections: this selection allows all remote
connections to access the DocuSP interface.
Enable Specified Connections: this selection allows you
to enter specific IP addresses (Internet Protocol address)
that can access the DocuSP interface. An IP address is
the indentifier of a computer or device attached to a TCP/
IP network. IP addresses are written as four sets of
numbers separated by periods. An IP address of
14.145.112.34 is an example. For additional information,
