Using the Stacking tab

• Stacker Limits: Shows the bin limit of each stacker.
• Settings: Displays the stacker settings.
• Enable: Enables the selected stacker.
• Disable: Disables the selected stacker.
• Stacking Mode & Limits: Allows you to enable mixed
finishing and, if supported, bin limit. Bin limit defines the
maximum number of sheets each stacker can contain.
• Select All: Highlights all stackers.
• Clear All: Deselects all highlighted stackers.
The View pull-down menu presents the following selections:
• Columns...: You can determine the stacker list display by
selecting or deselecting stacker list titles. If deselected, the
item is removed from the stacker list row.
• Show Toolbar: Selecting this option displays an assortment of
tools that correspond to common tasks.
• Hide Toolbar: This option, which is only available when the
toolbar is displayed, will toggle the display of the toolbar off.
• Redisplay: This option refreshes the contents of the stacker
list.
The different stacker options enable you to control the manner in
which documents are delivered to and retrieved from the stacker.
The Stacking tab allows you to perform the following tasks:
• Enable or disable a stacker.
• Stacking Mode and Limits: allows you to enable mixed
finishing and, if supported, bin limit. Bin limit defines the
maximum number of sheets each stacker can contain.
• Choose stacker settings:
– Control offset stacking: Offset stacking enables you to
deliver staggered (offset) sets of documents to the stacker
rather than printing several documents in a single pile.
NOTE: The offset stacking option is available only for
stackers that can handle offset stacking.
– Set the Bindexer capacity. The Bindexer capacity identifies
the total number of pages allowed to be bound as a job.
