Pausing and Resuming
Resetting Job IDs
- 2
Pausing and resuming processing
Pause processing is typically used for very large jobs.
When [Resume Processing] is selected the print process resumes
where it left off. Any adjustments that have been made to the job
or the queue are only applied to the portion of the job that has not
yet been processed.
To pause and resume processing:
1. To pause the print process select [Pause Processing] from the
DocuSP System menu or use the keyboard entry of Ctrl+Shift-
P
2. To resume the print process select [Resume Processing] from
the DocuSP System menu or use the keyboard entry of
Ctrl+Shift-R.
Each job is assigned a sequential identification number when it is
submitted for printing. Resetting the job IDs deletes all of the jobs
in the system, resets the job ID numbers, and restarts the
software.
CAUTION: Resetting the job IDs deletes all jobs in the system,
including all held, faulted, or ineligible jobs, and purges the
accounting logs. Before performing a reset, be sure to save the
accounting information to a file and verify that all jobs currently in
the system can be deleted.
