Using the Output tab to set queue properties
To use the output tab:
1. Open Queue Manager.
2. Double-click a queue to open Queue Properties.

4. Select the Basic Settings FAB. See Using the Basic Settings
FAB for more information.
5. Select Using the Stapling/Finishing FAB to set finishing, offset,
and output options.
6. Using the Slip Sheets FAB: Slip Sheets are pieces of paper (or
other media) that are inserted between document sets in a
print job.
7. Select the Layout FAB to control the placement, rotation,
cropping, and scaling of source document pages onto the
printed output. For a complete description of imposition
models see Setting Layout Styles, and the Layout Styles table.
8. Once you have finished making your selections click [OK], or
continue setting queue properties. Your selections will display
on each individual FAB.
Using the Basic Settings FAB
To use the Basic Settings FAB:
1. Use the Sides Imaged option to indicate whether the jobs
submitted to the queue should print on one or both sides of a
page. Sides imaged is often referred to as "plex". Both terms
refer to whether the job will be printed one-sided, two-sided, or
two-sided head-to-toe.
a. From the Sides Imaged pull-down menu choose from [1
Sided], or [2 Sided]. If [2 Sided] is selected you can then
select [Rotate Side 2]. Your selection displays in the Sides
Imaged field.
b. Select [Override] if you want this setting to take
precedence over any sides-imaged programming
associated with individual jobs.
2. Collation controls the sequence in which pages in a job will
print. Collation is enabled by default. Select from:
Collated: Documents are printed in sequential page order
and delivered as separate document sets. For example, if
you print three sets of a 3-page document, the output will
be grouped in the following page order: 1,2,3 1,2,3 1,2,3.
Uncollated: Documents are printed in separate sets of
each page. If you print 3 copies of a 2-page uncollated
document, the output will be grouped with three copies of
page 1 followed by three copies of page 2.
