Mixed Stock Size Job FAB
To use the Mixed Stock Size Job FAB:
1. In the Mixed Stock Size Job group, select [Optimize
Throughput]. This setting helps the system adjust to the most
efficient number of images that can be processed by receptor
cycle.
2. Enter the width of the widest sheet in the job in the Throughput
Width field.
3. Select the desired unit of measure: [mm] or [inches].
4. Select OK, or continue setting job properties. Your selection
will appear on the Mixed Stock Size Job FAB.
Set Sample FAB
To use the Set Sample FAB:
1. Click the Set Sample FAB
2. Select [Collated Sets] or [Uncollated Stacks].
• Uncollated Stacks: Prints a sample of each stack to the
top tray every n pages in the stack. Once selected, you
can enter the number of stack pages in the field below.
This allows you to set how often a sample is performed
(pages).
• Collated Sets: Prints a sample of the entire set to the top
tray every n pages in the set. Once selected, you can enter
the number of set pages in the field below. This allows you
to set how often a sample is performed (pages).
3. Select (OK) or continue setting job properties. Your selection
will appear on the Set Sample FAB.
Layout FAB
To use the layout FAB:
1. Click the Layout FAB. The Layout FAB is available only when
the Job Type is Multiple Up or Signature. The paper mimic
display shows your selection in graphic form. The Job
Properties Notes field presents pertinent information regarding
the imposition model you have selected.
2. From the Layout pull-down menu select the layout style or
imposition model you want to use. For information on each of
the available styles, click Layout Styles.
