to enable SSL/TLS. For more information, select Enabling
SSL/TLS.
Setting up a signed certificate from a certificate
authority
To set up a Signed Certificate from a Certificate Authority:
1. Logon to the DocuSP Controller as a System Administrator.
2. From the Setup menu select [SSL/TLS...].
3. Select [Add Certificate...]. The Add Certificate Wizard appears.
4. In Step 1 of the Wizard, select [Signed Certificate from a
Certificate Authority] and click [Next].
5. In Step 2 of the Wizard, you see text boxes containing the
Fully Qualified Domain Name and the IP Address. You can
select the radio buttons to choose whether the name or the IP
address is used; If you want to input a different Domain Name,
select [Other] and type a maximum of 256 alphanumeric
characters into the supplied text field. When you have made
your selection, click [Next].
NOTE: If you selected [Other], a warning message appears; if
you intend to proceed with using the non-qualified Domain
Name, dispel the warning message by selecting [OK].
6. In Step 3 of the Wizard, enter the requested information in the
text fields. Only the Organization field and the Country pull-
down are required. When you are finished, click [Next>>].
7. In Step 4 of the Wizard, specify which directory you want the
completed certificate.pem file. When you are finished, click
[Next].
8. In Step 5 of the Wizard, verify that the information is correct. If
so, click [Save].
9. Step 6 of the Wizard appears, verifying the location of your
certificate.pem file. Instructions are provided on how to obtain
the Signed Certificate. Click [Close].
10. Follow the instructions in Step 6 to obtain the Signed
Certificate.
11. Once you have received the Signed Certificate, you are then
able to install it by clicking [Install Received Certificate...]. A
window appears and you must specify the location of the
certificate file. Click [Install].
12. Dispel the warning message by clicking [OK].
13. When the Information box appears, verifying the installation of
the certificate, click [OK]. Once this is complete, you can
enable SSL/TLS. For more information, select Enabling SSL/
TLS.
