Earthquake Bracing
On the threaded rod located at the front of the frame:

Install a 5/8 nut onto the rod.

The nut will need to be threaded approximately 5 inches from the top of the
raised floor .
Place a helical washer onto the rod.

Place a flat washer onto the rod.
c.
On the threaded rod located at the back of the frame, place a Flat washer on the

threaded rod so that the washer is sitting on the nut holding the anchor in place.
Place a flat washer on the back threaded rod.

Slide the Earthquake brace onto the threaded rod from the front threaded rod to

the back threaded rod. Refer to the figure above.
Note:
Do not over adjust as this may cause the tile or frame to tilt.
On the threaded rod located at the rear of the frame:

Place a flat washer onto the rod.
a.
Place a helical washer onto the rod.
b.
Install a 5/8 nut onto the rod and secure tightly, but do not overtighten.
c.
On the threaded rod located at the front of the frame:

Place a flat washer onto the rod.
a.
Place a helical washer onto the rod.
b.
Install a 5/8 nut onto the rod.
c.
Adjust the front rod nuts and washers so that the flat portion of the Earthquake

bracing bar attached at the threaded rod is level.
Repeat all the above steps for all additional sets of front and back threaded rods.
