5) Remove intake manifold rear stiffener (1) and generator adjust
arm reinforcement (2) from intake manifold (3).
6) Disconnect oxygen sensor No.2 coupler (1) and remove ex-
haust No.1 pipe (2) with catalytic converter case (3).
7) Disconnect following electric wires:
D MAP sensor
D CMP sensor
D Engine oil pressure switch
D Ignition coil assembly
D ECT sensor
D Ground wire from intake manifold and cylinder head
D Injectors
D TP sensor
D IAC valve
D Oxygen sensor (if equipped)
D EVAP canister purge valve (if equipped)
and then release above wire harnesses from clamps.
8) Disconnect following hoses:
D Canister purge hose from EVAP canister purge valve
D Radiator inlet hose from thermostat case
D Brake booster hose from intake manifold
D Heater inlet hose from pipe
D Throttle body outlet hose from throttle body
9) Disconnect accelerator cable from throttle body and each
clamp.
