STRUT ASSEMBLY
: Tightening Torque
1. Strut nut
2. Strut rock washer
3. Strut support
4. Bearing seal:
Apply SUZUKI SUPER GREASE A
99000-25010
5. Bearing upper washer
6. Strut bearing:
Apply SUZUKI SUPER GREASE A
99000-25010
7. Bearing lower washer
8. Bearing spacer
9. Coil spring upper seat
10. Coil spring seat
11. Bump stopper
12. Coil spring
REMOVAL
1) Disconnect negative cable at battery.
2) Remove air cleaner assembly (if removing right side strut), refer-
ring to SECTION 6A1.
3) Hoist vehicle, allowing front suspension to hang free.
4) Remove wheel.
5) Remove E-ring (1) securing brake flexible hose and take brake
flexible hose off strut bracket as shown.
6) Remove wheel speed sensor harness clamp bolt from strut (if
equipped).
7) Remove strut bracket bolts (2).

13. Shock absorber:
Apply SUZUKI SUPER GREASE A
99000-25010 to sliding part of rod.
14. Strut support nut
15. Strut bracket nut
16. Strut bracket bolt:
Insert from the direction as shown.
17. E-ring
