3.2.1 Input/output buffer

The command interpreted in the buffer and execute it in this product when the program message
input from a remote interface is preserved in the input buffer once, and you detect the terminal of the
program message by the delimiter (or, EOI). The next message is not received while interpreting the
command and executing it. The input buffer is cleared when the interpretation and the execution of
the command end, and restart the reception of the program message.
The size of this input buffer is 255 bytes.
As for the part that exceeded it, when the program message of length that exceeds this is input, only
the part that reads, was thrown away, and left in the buffer is interpreted the command and executed.
The length of the entire program message must not exceed the size of the input buffer when using the
multi command (Refer to section 3.2.3). Moreover, the delimiter is contained in the length of the
program message.
Moreover, this instrument has the output buffer (Output queue) in 255 bytes. When the output buffer
becomes full, the response message in the part that exceeds the size of the buffer is thrown away
without being transmitted. Moreover, query error at this time is generated. The number of response
messages of total bytes to query must not exceed the size of the buffer when using the multi
command (Refer to section 3.2.3). Moreover, the delimiter is contained in the length of the response
message.
It does not receive the limitation of these sizes of the I/O buffer for command/query that treats the
following data with large size.
