DATA:MODE command/query
This sets/reads out the operation mode of logging function.
Command syntax
:DATA:MODE <data_mode>
< data_mode>
<Character program data>
NORMAL
BULK
If this command is executed in trigger waiting status or measurement, none is done; resulting in
execution error.
Query syntax
:DATA:MODE?
Response message <data_mode>
<data_mode> is <character response data> format.
Remark
If the log mode is bulk, the buk log is started by INITiate command or READ? query.
Until the specified stop condition is satisfied or ABORt command is used for forcible stop in the
bulk log execution status, sampling and recording on the log data are continuously executed.
In the bulk log execution status, almost all remote commands/queries result in execution error.
Valid commands/queries even in the bulk log execution status are as follows:
- OPC
- OPC?
- WAI
- RST
- ESR?
- :MESR?
- :FETCh?
- :DATA:BULK:STATe?
- :ABORt
