Shift to adjustment mode and return to normal (measurement) mode

Adjustment in remote is performed by the adjustment mode. In order to shift to the adjustment mode,
the following command is used.
:CAL:ENT
Moreover, in order to return from the adjustment mode to the normal (measurement) mode, the
following command is used.
:CAL:EXIT <param>
<param>
<Character program data>
OFF
ON
In case the adjusted values are not written, it is disposed, and is not reflected.
3.6.3

Adjusted value writing

The adjustment done by the adjustment mode does not become valid unless it is written in this
instrument memory. To perform writing, the following query is to be used. Writing success (0)/fail (-1)
are returned.
:CAL:SAV?
Furthermore, writing can also be done by parameter setting of shift command from the adjustment
mode to normal mode.
3.6.4

Each adjustment menu

The adjustment procedures for each item are as follows:
1. Connect to the calibrator which outputs the calibration signal.
Preparation for adjusting each item is the same as manual configuration. Please refer to
"Instruction Manual."
2. Send the query. In order to perform the adjustment, the query corresponding to the adjustment item
should be sent.
Example) Full scale adjustment of DCV, 100V range and minus (-) side
:CAL:DCV:DCV:V100:NEG?
3. Receive the query response.
All query responses are as follows:
<NR1 numerical response data>
0
1
However the adjusted value of failed item is not updated even if adjusted value writing is done.
Of the adjustment query, the response may take several 10 seconds. The timeout of external
instrument to be controlled should take sufficiently, or countermeasure to perform synchronous
communication by SRQ is required.
3.6.5

Adjustment menu required parameter

Full scale adjustment (except 100MΩ) of the resistance measurement (2WΩ and 4WΩ) needs the
value shown by the calibrator as a parameter. The parameter should be entered with <NR3 numerical
program data> format.
(Example) Full scale calibration of 4WΩ and 100kΩ range (Calibrator output is 100.0016k Ω)
:CAL:FRES:OHM100K? 100.0016E+3
