Chapter 4: AC Drive Parameters
P4.10
AI1 Input Bias (Offset)
Range/Units (Format: 16-bit signed)
–1000% to +1000%
P4.11
AI1 Input Bias (Offset) Polarity
Range/Units (Format: 16-bit binary)
0: NO Offset
1: Positive Offset
2: Negative Offset
P4.12
AI1 Input Gain
Range/Units (Format: 16-bit signed)
–5000% to +5000%
Parameters P4.10 to P4.13 are used when the source of the Frequency Command is an analog
voltage signal connected to AI1. The relationship between the external input voltage (current) and
setting frequency: 0~10V (4~20mA) corresponds to 0~60Hz.
• P410 adjusts the bias (offset) for Analog Input #1
• P411 sets the offset polarity for Analog Input #1
If the application requires a negative offset, but the PLC cannot supply a negative number, choose
"Negative Offset" and enter a positive number in P410
• P412 adjusts the gain for Analog Input #1
• P413 provides a delay to serve as an electrical noise filter for Analog Input #1

P4.13
AI1 Filter
Range/Units (Format: 16-bit unsigned)
000~2000 sec
This parameter sets a delay for Analog Input #1 to filter a noisy signal.
When the setting of P4.13 is too large, the reading of AI1 will be more stable but the control
response will be slower. When the setting of P4.13 is too small, the control response will be faster
but the control may be unstable due to a noisy AI1 reading. To find the optimal setting, adjust the
setting according to the desired amount of response vs signal accuracy.
