Speed/position references not input Check reference input pins.
Setting for Pn50A to Pn50D "Input
Signal Selection" is incorrect.
Encoder type differs from parame-
ter setting (Pn002.2).

input is turned ON.
The forward run prohibited (P-OT)
and reverse run prohibited (N-OT)
input signals are turned OFF.
The safety input signal (/HWBB1 or
/HWBB2) remains OFF.
A SERVOPACK fault occurred.
Servomotor wiring is incorrect.
Encoder wiring is incorrect.
Investigative Actions
Check voltage between power sup-
ply terminals.
Check the voltage between power
supply terminals.
Check if the connector CN1 is prop-
erly inserted and connected.
Check the wiring.
Run under no load and check the
load status.
Check settings of parameters
Pn50A to Pn50D.
Check setting of parameter
Pn002.2.
Check settings of parameters
Pn50A.0 and Pn50A.1.
Check parameter Pn000.1.
Check the ON/OFF status of the
SEN input.
Check the Pn200.0 setting and the
reference pulse status.
Check V-REF and SG to confirm if
the control method and the input are
agreed.
Check V-REF and SG to confirm if
the control method and the input are
agreed.
Check Pn200.0 reference pulse
form or sign + pulse signal.
Check /CLR input pins (CN1-14
and -15).
Check P-OT or N-OT input signal.
Check the /HWBB1 or /HWBB2
input signal.
Check the servomotor wiring.
Check the encoder wiring.
Corrective Actions
Correct the power circuit.
Correct the power circuit.
Correct the connector CN1 connec-
tion.
Correct the wiring.
Reduce load or replace with larger
capacity servomotor.
Input speed/position references cor-
rectly.
Correct the settings for Pn50A to
Pn50D "Input Signal Selection."
Set parameter Pn002.2 to the
encoder type being used.
Set the parameters to turn the Servo
ON (/S-ON) input signal ON.
Set parameters to match the applica-
tion.
If using an absolute encoder, turn
the SEN input signal ON.
Match the Pn200.0 setting and the
reference pulse status.
Correct the control mode selection
parameter, or the input.
Correct the control mode selection
parameter, or the input.
Correct the control mode selection
parameter, or the input.
Turn /CLR input signal OFF.
Turn P-OT or N-OT input signal
ON.
Set the /HWBB1 or /HWBB2 input
signal to ON.
When not using the safety function,
mount the safety function jumper
connector (provided as an acces-
sory) on the CN8.
Replace the SERVOPACK.
