Monitoring Safety Input Signals
The status of safety input signals can be checked with the safety I/O signal monitor (Un015). How to read the
displayed safety input signal status and a display example are shown below.
8.5.1 Interpreting Safety Input Signal Display Status
The status of allocated signals is displayed on the 7-segment display on the Panel Operator.
Input terminals correspond to LED numbers as shown in the following table.

• When the safety input signal is OFF (open) status, the top segment (LED) is lit.
• When the safety input signal is ON (short-circuited) status, the bottom segment (LED) is lit.

• When /HWBB1 signal turns OFF to activate the HWBB function.
