Questa operazione è

documentata con motore rimosso dal
telaio, in quanto, con motore al banco,
tutte le operazioni di rimontaggio
risultano facilitate. È comunque
possibile eseguire le operazioni anche
con motore installato sul motociclo.

Per rimuovere il sensore motore (8) è
necessario smontare il coperchio
pompa acqua (A) nel modo descritto
alla Sezione N 3.3.
Svitare la vite (1) e rimuovere il
sensore motore (8) sul coperchio
alternatore, facendo attenzione allo
spessore (9) e alla guarnizione OR (10).
Scollegare il connettore del cavo
alternatore.
Svitare le due viti (7) di fissaggio del
coperchietto (6) in corrispondenza
dell'albero motore.
Svitare le viti (11), (12) e (13) di
fissaggio coperchio alternatore.
Utilizzare l'attrezzo 88713.1749
fissandolo ai fori delle viti (7) appena
rimosse.
Ruotare lentamente l'attrezzo fino ad
ottenere il distacco del coperchio (29)
dal semicarter sinistro.

Notes
This operation is described for
an engine removed from the frame
since all reassembly procedures are
easier with the engine on the bench.
The operations can nonetheless also
be performed with engine installed in
the frame.
To remove the engine sensor (8) you
must first remove the water pump
cover (A) as described in
Section N 3.3.
Loosen the screw (1) and remove
the engine sensor (8) from the
alternator cover, taking care not to
lose the shim (9) and the O-ring (10).
Disconnect the alternator wiring
connector.
Undo the two retaining screws (7)
of the cover (6) located in
correspondence with the crankshaft.
Undo the alternator cover screws (11),
(12) and (13).
Fix service tool 88713.1749 to the
holes of the two screws (7) you have
just removed.
Turn the tool shaft slowly to remove
cover (29) from the LH crankcase half.
