Smontaggio pompa freno
idraulico anteriore
Attenzione
La casa costruttrice della pompa
freno, considerando l'importanza in
termini di sicurezza che riveste questo
componente, suggerisce di non
intervenire in nessun modo all'interno
della pompa. Una revisione non
eseguita correttamente può mettere
in serio pericolo l'incolumità del pilota.
Le operazioni di sostituzione si
devono limitare alla leva di comando,
al gruppo serbatoio con relativi
componenti di fissaggio e al fissaggio
pompa.
Operazioni
Svuotare l'impianto
frenante
Scollegare il tubo
comando freno dal gruppo
A
pompa
Svitare le viti (9) di fissaggio del
cavallotto (8) e rimuovere il gruppo
pompa freno anteriore (1) dal
manubrio.
Per la scomposizione dei componenti
del gruppo pompa (1) fare riferimento
all'esploso riportato a inizio capitolo.
Quando si effettua il rimontaggio
delle tubazioni è necessario
interporre il raccordo (3) con le
guarnizioni (4) e serrare il raccordo alla
coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Rimontaggio pompa

Posizionare il cavallotto (8) del corpo
pompa (1) completo allineandolo ai
grani di centraggio sul manubrio.
Serrare le viti (9) del cavallotto (8)
alla coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3),
procedendo con sequenza 1-2-1.
Nel caso si sia intervenuti sulla
tubazione (A), seguire quanto
riportato alla Sezione G 3.

Riempire l'impianto
frenante
Removing the front brake
master cylinder
Warning
The brake master cylinder
manufacturer advises against
servicing the brake master cylinder
due to the safety critical nature of this
component. Incorrect overhaul of this
critical safety component can
endanger rider safety.
Maintenance operations on these
units are limited to renewal of the
following parts: control lever, fluid
reservoir assembly and relative
fasteners and master cylinder
fasteners.

D 4 Drain the braking
system
G 3 Disconnect the brake
hose from the master
cylinder unit
Unscrew the bolts (9) securing the
mounting clamp (8) and then remove
the front brake master cylinder
assembly (1) from the handlebar.
For disassembly of components of
the master cylinder unit (1) refer to
the exploded view at the beginning of
this chapter.
When refitting the hoses, fit union (3)
with sealing washers (4) and tighten
the union to the prescribed torque
(Sect. C 3).
Refitting the front brake
master cylinder
Locate the mounting clamp (8) of the
complete master cylinder assembly (1)
aligning it with the locating grub
screws on the handlebar.
Tighten the bolts (9) of the mounting
clamp (8) to the specified torque
(Sect. C 3), in the sequence 1-2-1.
If any work has been carried out on
hose (A), follow the instructions in
Section G 3.
