Smontaggio forcellone
posteriore
Prima di procedere alla rimozione dei
componenti in questione occorre
rimuovere dal motoveicolo i particolari
riportati di seguito:

Rimuovere la pinza freno
posteriore
Separare l'ammortiz-
zatore e il tirante dal
forcellone posteriore
Rimuovere le pedane
pilota
Rimuovere il mozzo eccentrico
posteriore come descritto nel capitolo
"Smontaggio mozzo eccentrico
posteriore" di questa sezione.
Liberare il tubo freno posteriore e
il cavo sensore velocità svitando le
4
viti (23) e rimuovendo le fascette (22).
Scollegare il sensore velocità (B) dal
cablaggio principale.
Con il forcellone (4) ancora inserito sul
telaio è possibile verificare il gioco dei
cuscinetti di supporto.
Provare a spostare nei quattro sensi la
parte posteriore del forcellone (4).
Uno spostamento anormale è
sintomo di cuscinetti usurati che
possono provocare instabilità del
mezzo.
Fare riferimento per la verifica dei
giochi dei cuscinetti di supporto alla
Sezione N 9.2.
Dopo aver effettuato il controllo del
gioco dei cuscinetti di supporto è
possibile effettuare la rimozione del
forcellone posteriore (4).
Svitare il dado (11) e allentare il
morsetto (8) di tenuta del perno
forcellone (19) sul lato sinistro di
quest'ultimo.

Removing the swingarm
Before removing the parts in question,
you must first remove the following
parts:

Remove the shock
absorber and tie-rod
from the swingarm
G 7
Remove the rider
footrests

Remove the rear hub as described in
"Removing the rear eccentric hub" in
this section.
Free the rear brake hose and the
speed sensor wire by unscrewing
the screws (23) and removing the
clips (22).
Disconnect the speed sensor wiring
connector (B) from the main wiring
harness.
You can check the play in the
swingarm bearings while the
swingarm (4) still installed on the
motorcycle.
Grasp the rear of the swingarm (4) and
try to move it in the four directions
shown by the arrows.
Any abnormal movement is a sign of
worn bearings that could cause
instability when riding.
Refer to the indications for checking
swingarm bearing play in the
Section N 9.2.
Once the play in the swingarm
bearings has been checked, the
swingarm (4) may be removed from
the motorcycle.
Unscrew the nut (11) and loosen the
pinch bolt (8) securing the swingarm
pivot bolt (19) on the left-hand side.
