Smontaggio gruppo
tappo serbatoio
Per rimuovere il gruppo tappo dal
serbatoio procedere nel modo
seguente.
Aprire il tappo di carico.
Svitare le tre viti (13) esterne che
fissano la ghiera al pozzetto del
serbatoio.
Svitare la vite (12) antifurto interna.
Rimuovere il tappo completo (14).
Nel tappo serbatoio è presente il
gommino (D) di sfiato.
In caso di sostituzione, applicare
uniformemente su tutto il perimetro
della gola del gommino (D) un adesivo
istantaneo.
Installare il gommino facendolo
aderire perfettamente nella sede del
pozzetto.
Rimontaggio gruppo
tappo serbatoio
Ingrassare opportunamente la nuova

guarnizione OR (D) e la relativa sede
LOCK
del serbatoio.
Rimontare il tappo completo (14) nella
sede del serbatoio e serrare le viti (13)
e (12) alla coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Removal of the fuel filler
cap assembly
To remove the fuel filler cap assembly
proceed as follows.
Open the filler cap.
Unscrew the outer screws (13)
securing the ring nut to the filler cap
recess.
Unscrew the anti-theft screw (12) on
the inside.
Remove the filler cap assembly (14).
The rubber breather nozzle (D) is
located inside the filler cap.
If the nozzle (D) is renewed, apply a
uniform film of speed bonder around
the groove.
Fit the nozzle making sure that it is
properly seated in the recess groove.
Refitting the fuel filler
cap assembly
Grease the new O-ring (D) and its
groove in the fuel tank.
Refit the filler cap assembly (14) in
its seat in the tank and tighten the
screws (13) and (12) to their specified
torque (Sect. C 3).
