About this task
Procedure:
Do this procedure when you see the following message: 0791 CHANGE FINE FILTER.
Note:
1. You do not have to replace the fine filter the first time you see the CHANGE FINE
FILTER message. To bypass the message, select Start on the printer operator
panel or the Main touch panel.
The CHANGE FINE FILTER message reappears each time end-of-forms is reached,
an error condition occurs, or every 4 000 feet of forms thereafter if you are
using a roll-feed preprocessing device. When certain additional feet of forms
have been processed since the message originally appeared, you must change
the fine filter before you can return the printer to Ready status.
2. To clear this message, the printer power must be on while you replace the fine
filter.
Procedure
1. From the rear of the printer, open the cover as shown.
