Customer-Replaceable Units

The following table lists the customer-replaceable units (CRUs) in the server and directs you to
the replacement instructions.
CRU
Description
Battery
Lithium coin-cell battery that powers the CMOS BIOS
and real-time clock.
DIMMs
Add or replace memory modules in the system.
Storage drives
Storage drive configurations can comprise both hard
disk drives (HDDs) or solid state disk drives (SSDs).
Configurations include:
■ Up to twelve 3.5-inch hot-pluggable SAS HDDs
■ Up to twenty-four 2.5-inch hot-pluggable SAS
HDDs or SSDs, with optional support for up to four
PCIe-based NVMe SSDs

Oracle Storage 12 Gb/s SAS PCIe RAID HBA and super capacitor
PCIe cards (PCIe slots 1, 2, and 3 are nonfunctional in single-processor systems.)

Power supplies
Right LED indicator module
