Power supply unit Two fully redundant AC-powered power supplies.

Field-Replaceable Units

The following table lists the field-replaceable units (FRUs) in the server and directs you to the
replacement instructions.
FRU Description
Processor and The processor that carries out the instructions of the
heatsink system.
Disk backplanes Provide power and communications connectors for
storage drives.
SAS cables Provide signals between the front disk backplane and
the Oracle Storage 12 Gb/s SAS PCIe RAID HBA,
and from the front disk backplane to the rear disk
backplane.
NVMe cables Provide signals between the Oracle PCIe NVMe switch
card and the disk backplane.
Oracle Storage 12 Located in PCIe slot 6, the Oracle Storage 12 Gb/s SAS
Gb/s SAS PCIe PCIe RAID HBA manages SAS storage drives.
RAID HBA
DVD drive Optional DVD drive on configurations with eight 2.5-
inch drives.
Front LED/USB Contain the push-button circuitry and LEDs that are
indicator modules displayed on the bezel of the chassis.
Motherboard Provides connectors for the DIMMs, processors, PCIe
assembly risers, and other components.
