Earth leakage current test measures the leakage current flowing back through the ground
conductor of the power cord through an impedance that simulates the impedance of the
human body. Figure 2-12a shows the circuit connections. This is basically the total
leakage current from protectively earthed parts of the medical device.
The Guardian 6100 Plus can perform this test by just plugging the medical device into
the G30 corded product adapter. The tests can be performed with any of 4 different
mains conditions. These conditions are:

Single Fault – Normal (Neutral S1 open & S5 DOWN position)
