2.4.6 Programming an Insulation Resistance (IR) Test
In an IR test, high DC voltage is applied to the DUT to determine strength of the
insulation of the DUT. The resistance is measured between the DUT insulation and
ground. A low limit is required in an IR test. The low limit is the minimum allowable
value for the test to be considered a PASS. If the measured value is lower than the low
limit the test is considered a FAIL.
If not already in PROGRAM mode:
Press [MENU] to access the PROGRAM menu
Press the function key [PROGRAM]
