A critical specification for IEC60601-1 standard safety testing is the actual measurement
device used in the testing. IEC60601-1 requires the use of a true RMS multi-meter with
a very specific load. The load simulates the impedance of the human body. Figure 2-8
illustrates the IEC60601-1 required test load.
