You have to enter this information only once on the Advanced
Dialing screen. When you place a call, there is no need to enter the
prefix again; simply select the preferred dialing speed and the
ViewStation FX or VS4000 enters the proper prefix.
If a cryptographic encoder/decoder is connected between the
ViewStation FX or the VS4000 system and the network, it may
require a resynchronization signal from the ViewStation FX or
VS4000. This is a signal indicating that the ViewStation FX or the
VS4000 has lost video synchronization due to a network problem
and requires that the cryptographic encoder/decoder resync with
the equipment at the other end of the connection.
To access the Crypto Resync Pulse screen:
1. Select System Info > Admin Setup > Security.
2. In the Security screen, select the Crypto Resync option.The
Crypto Resync Pulse screen appears.

You can configure the following options on this screen:
Crypto Resync—This option is Off by default. To enable Crypto
Resync, select On.
