    ViewStation EX, ViewStation FX, and the VS4000 system: RS-232 Modes The RS-232 port on the ViewStation EX, ViewStation FX, and the VS4000 system supports two modes: Control and Pass-Thru. In Control Mode, a device (for example, a PC) connected to the RS-232 port can control the system using the Remote Control API.
