Selecting PRI Channels (E1 and T1)

Line Build Out (PRI T1 only)—If you are using an internal
CSU, enter the output attenuation in dB. If you are using an
external CSU, enter the output attenuation in feet.
You can limit the number of channels that a ViewStation FX or
VS4000 can use to place or receive a call on the PRI Status screen.
This screen lets you select the PRI channels that will be active for
your PRI line.
To access the PRI Status screen:
Select System Info > Admin Setup > Video Network > IMUX >
PRI Network > PRI Status. The following shows the T1 and E1 PRI
Status screens:

This screen should only be handled by a knowledgeable network
administrator.
To select a channel:
Use the arrow keys on the remote control. An active channel is

represented by a green sphere and an inactive channel by a grey
sphere.
