Gatekeeper Status Indicators

VS4000 confirms each line, another line indicator appears on the
ISDN check icon. Once the first ISDN line (line 1) connects, you can
make a call.
Once the check is complete, and if the ISDN lines are properly
configured, the indicator disappears. If it does not disappear, you
should check the physical connections and the configuration of the
ISDN lines.
Figure 3-24 shows an example of network conditions.

Depending on the option selected on the Gatekeeper screen, one of
the following status indicators will appear on the main screen every
time you power on the ViewStation FX or VS4000:
Yellow Icon—The ViewStation FX or VS4000 cannot find the
Gatekeeper.
Red Icon—The ViewStation FX or VS4000 has detected the
Gatekeeper, but it is not allowed to register with the
Gatekeeper.
Green Icon—The ViewStation FX or VS4000 has found the
Gatekeeper and it is registered with the Gatekeeper.
No Icon—No Gatekeeper was specified or set to Off in the
Gateway & Gatekeeper screen (System Info > Admin Setup >
LAN/H.323 > H.323 > Gateway & Gatekeeper).
